A bock-style beer with added maple syrup during the first fermentation to enhance its flavors and aromas.
Red with coppery reflections, on the nose the sweetness of the malt and its notes of biscuit, caramel, and wheat blend with the maple syrup, creating an enveloping complexity.
In the mouth, the sweet notes return, tempered however by the dry finish that guarantees easier drinkability.
The sweetness of the malt and maple syrup pairs well with grilled and caramelized notes of meat and vegetables.
To be tried in combination with milk chocolate or gianduja, whose softness and sweetness blend with the malty nuances, or with desserts based on maple syrup for a direct reference to the beer's main ingredient.
