Organic means a controlled and certified supply chain
Our maple syrup is also organic. Production and processing take place with respect for human, animal, and environmental health: less air and water pollution, responsible use of natural resources, and attention to biodiversity.
No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, or pesticides. Genetically modified organisms are also prohibited. The production specifications comply with European regulations no. 834/07 and 889/08.

Protected forests, natural harvesting
Organic production begins long before bottling: with the forest where the maple trees grow and how one enters it. Cleaning and sanitizing of tools and equipment are carried out only with food-grade ethyl alcohol or alcohol vinegar.
The forest
Only untouched areas of Quebec, where only ordinary undergrowth maintenance is allowed. We choose lands with the highest concentration of trees.
At least 15%
The share of different maple species that we guarantee in each area, to protect and conserve the original ecosystem.
Delimited areas
Each area is fenced and the surrounding spaces are not cultivated with chemicals or pesticides, as required by the certification plan.
Blue piping
Shortly before harvesting, workers install the pipes. They are blue so that wildlife can see them and not get entangled.
Reverse osmosis
A natural system concentrates the sap before boiling: it preserves minerals and requires less energy to evaporate the water.
What do inspectors check
Organic maple syrup undergoes rigorous checks in all areas of production, with cross-inspections by two independent agencies: BioAgricert in Italy and Ecocert in Canada.
