  • Lightly whip the cream to a creamy consistency (not too firm).
  • Warm the glasses by filling them with boiling water, empty them, and pour in the maple syrup, whiskey, and boiling coffee. Stir well.
  • Gently pour the cream over the back of a spoon held just above the surface of the coffee (this way the cream will float on top of the coffee without mixing).
  • Top with the shaved chocolate and serve immediately.
